Homework vs. Time vs. Me

I am the pencil sitting on the desk.

Waiting to be used I lay dormant.

I am the project sitting in the corner

half done and unorganized.

I am the clock on the counter

ticking away faster and faster.

I am the computer on the desk,

I talk to many people each night.

I am the toolbar on the bottom

Where my essay lays upon.

As I look to my bed

my pillow calls my name.

My pencil lays as it did.

Till the next day.

The potential energy is great,

And growing each day,

Until the DUE DATE!!!
