Chapter 5
Tonight, after more days
and trials than we can
count, we finished
building a strange thing,
from the remains of the
Unmentionable Times, a
box of glass, devised to
give forth the power of
the sky of greater strength
then we had ever achieved
before. |
Chapter 6
Tomorrow in the full
light of day, we shall
take our box, and leave
our tunnel open, and
walk to through the
streets to the Home
of the Scholars. |
Chapter 7
These great and wise
of the earth did not know
what to think of us, and
they looked upon us with
wonder and curiosity, as
if we were a miracle. |
Chapter 8
For, upon the blue of
the sky below us, we
saw our own face for
the first time. |
